Rajasthan SOG arrests two for using forged medical degrees

The Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) has arrested two individuals, Pankaj Yadav and Nanjiram Chaudhary, for allegedly using forged medical qualifications to register with the Rajasthan Medical Council.

Pankaj Yadav, a resident of Sikar, reportedly studied MBBS in Kazakhstan from 2013 to 2018 but failed the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) approximately six times. He allegedly used a counterfeit MBBS degree and marksheets purportedly from Sri Krishna Medical College in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, to secure his registration. Aryabhatta Knowledge University in Patna confirmed the documents were forged.

Nanjiram Chaudhary, who reportedly only completed education up to the 8th grade, allegedly presented falsified documents to claim a diploma in gynecology and obstetrics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Mumbai. Chaudhary, who operates Bhaskar Hospital in Jalore, also allegedly used forged certificates and allotment letters.

The SOG is currently investigating the potential involvement of Rajasthan Medical Council employees and officials in the registration process.
