Rajasthan police arrest wanted smuggler Kanwararam

The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) has arrested Kanwararam, a high-profile drug smuggler with a reward of one lakh rupees on his head. The arrest took place in Barmer as part of ‘Operation Vishkapil’.

Kanwararam had been evading law enforcement for three years and was ranked among the top 25 narcotics criminals in Rajasthan. He faces 14 criminal cases across Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, including violations of the NDPS Act, murder, and assault. To avoid detection, the suspect frequently changed locations and used eight dogs at his residence to alert him to the presence of strangers or police.
