Rajasthan police have conducted a massive crackdown on drug traffickers, seizing assets worth approximately 73.64 crore rupees. Under the directives of Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, authorities utilized Section 68-F of the NDPS Act to freeze and seize movable and immovable properties, including luxury bungalows, agricultural land, cars, and tractors, believed to be acquired through illegal drug trade.

In Chittorgarh district alone, police seized assets valued at over 20.35 crore rupees, including properties belonging to several individuals such as Rahul Banjara. Other districts involved in the state-wide operation include Jhalawar, Baran, Pratapgarh, Jodhpur Rural, Nagaur, and Bikaner.

In a separate major operation in the Tonk district, police seized five kilograms of high-grade foreign ‘OG’ cannabis valued at approximately 5 crore rupees. A 20-year-old suspect, Lalaram, was arrested during the raid in the Niwai police station area. Investigations are ongoing to determine the origin and intended supply chain of the high-grade narcotics.
