Rajasthan Police uncovers drone drug trafficking links to Pakistan

Rajasthan Police has uncovered a major drug trafficking network utilizing drones to transport contraband across the border. Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Sharma stated that investigations have revealed direct involvement from Pakistan in these drone-based smuggling operations.

Authorities have traced several links within the network, identified multiple suspects, and seized bank accounts associated with illegal funding. The investigation involved long-term research into drone flight paths, drop locations, and the identification of local collaborators.

DGP Sharma emphasized that strict legal action will be taken against all named individuals involved. Additionally, following directives from the Union Home Minister, authorities are identifying and taking action against encroachments in border areas to bolster national security.
