Rajasthan Roadways launches 144 new Blue Line Express buses

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated 144 new Blue Line Express buses for Rajasthan Roadways at the Heerapura bus terminal in Jaipur. The ceremony included a green‑flag launch and the distribution of 2,500 helmets to women, underscoring a road‑safety message.

The new buses are equipped with modern amenities such as CCTV cameras, GPS tracking, panic buttons, LED destination boards, in‑bus entertainment screens and individual mobile‑charging points. Sharma highlighted that the state transport corporation has moved from years of losses to profitability, enabling timely payment of staff salaries and broader service expansion to remote villages and towns across Rajasthan.
