Rajasthan Royals are seeking to acquire a fast bowler who performed well for Lucknow Super Giants last season. In return, the Royals are prepared to offer one or two players, potentially a combination of a batter and an all-rounder. The deal may also include a spinner from the Lucknow squad.

While talks have reportedly been agreed upon in principle, no official announcement has been made. This development occurs as the Indian Premier League has extended the deadline for franchises to finalize their player retention and release lists to November 17, ahead of a mini-auction scheduled for December 16 in Goa.
