Rajasthan RSSB announces recruitment for 874 Junior Engineer posts

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has opened applications for 874 Junior Engineer (JE) positions across several state departments. The recruitment drive includes roles within the Public Works Department (PWD), the Water Resources Department, and the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED).

Vacancies are distributed among various engineering disciplines, including Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical trades. Specifically, the PWD is offering 351 posts for JE Civil degree holders and 42 for diploma holders. The Water Resources Department has 72 degree and 179 diploma positions, while PHED includes 47 degree, 151 diploma, and 32 mechanical/electrical diploma posts.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the Rajasthan SSO portal from August 16 until September 14, 2026. The recruitment includes 793 posts for non-scheduled areas and 81 for scheduled areas. Applicants must meet specific age requirements, typically between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2027, with relaxations provided for reserved categories.
