Rajasthan to receive three new train services

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved three new train services passing through Rajasthan, following a request from Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. The new routes are intended to enhance regional connectivity and facilitate easier travel for passengers across several states.

The approved services include the Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express, which will connect Gujarat and Bihar via Rajasthan stations such as Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, and Bharatpur. The journey is expected to cover approximately 2,532 km.

Additionally, the Haridwar–Okha Express and the Haridwar–Veraval Express have been sanctioned. These trains will travel through Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, and Abu Road, providing improved links between Haridwar and various parts of Gujarat and western India.
