Rajinikanth celebrates 51 years in cinema on ‘Dharman’ film sets
Indian cinema superstar Rajinikanth celebrated 51 years in the film industry on August 15. The milestone, marking the anniversary of his 1975 debut in ‘Apoorva Raagangal’, was commemorated with a cake-cutting ceremony on the sets of his upcoming film, ‘Dharman’.
‘Dharman’ is Rajinikanth’s 173rd film and is directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. The project is produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under Raajkamal Films International and Turmeric Media. The cast includes Simran, Raashii Khanna, and Yogi Babu. Technical contributors to the film include music composer Anirudh Ravichander and cinematographer Niketh Bommi.
In addition to ‘Dharman’, Rajinikanth is awaiting the release of ‘Jailer 2’, a sequel directed by Nelson, which is scheduled for an October 15 release.
