Rajinikanth films ‘Dharman’ in Mysuru with Telugu stars

Actor Rajinikanth is currently filming the upcoming action thriller ‘Dharman’ in Mysuru. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, the project aims to strengthen its presence in the Telugu market through the inclusion of prominent Telugu stars.

Recent casting updates confirm that Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela have joined the production. Sreeleela was reportedly seen joining the shoot in Mysuru, while Pothineni’s involvement follows previous speculation. The film also features Raashii Khanna, Simran, and Yogi Babu.

During the filming process in late September 2026, Rajinikanth drew significant attention from fans by arriving at the set in a modest auto-rickshaw rather than a luxury vehicle. The actor, dressed in a traditional veshti, personally greeted crowds gathered outside the shooting premises.
