Rajiv Rajagopal promoted to Senior VP, Head of Advanced TV at WPP Media India

WPP Media announced that Rajiv Rajagopal has been elevated to Senior Vice President, Head of Advanced TV for India, effective July 2026. In the expanded role he will lead the company’s Advanced TV practice, shaping strategy, product development, partner ecosystems and measurement standards for Connected TV and addressable television across the market.

Rajagopal, who has spent more than a decade with WPP Media and its predecessor GroupM, previously built the Advanced TV business from the ground up, launched India’s first hyper‑local addressable TV solution and helped create a Connected TV marketplace. His earlier experience includes senior positions at Finecast, Star India, Red FM and Radio Mirchi.
