Rajko Bovan arrested in Belgrade on robbery suspicion

Rajko Bovan, a 32-year-old judo athlete and coach from Trebinje, has been located in Belgrade following reports of his disappearance. Rather than being missing, Bovan is currently in custody in Belgrade due to suspicion of involvement in robbery.

His family and friends had previously reported him missing to the Belgrade Police Administration after losing contact on October 5. While public appeals were made on social media to help locate him, police records revealed he had been arrested shortly before those appeals were circulated.

Bovan is a long-time member of the Leotar Judo Club and holds a first-degree black belt. He has been known in Trebinje for his athletic achievements and humanitarian work, though he was previously linked to a 2021 police investigation regarding an arson incident involving a vehicle.
