Rajnath Singh criticizes Rahul Gandhi over remarks on PM Modi

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has strongly criticized Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi for recent remarks regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India's foreign policy. Singh described the comments as “indecent,” “shameful,” and “low-level,” stating that such behavior poses a serious threat to a healthy democracy.

Singh expressed personal distress over the remarks, noting that in his long political career, he has never witnessed such conduct from a Leader of the Opposition, citing previous leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Manmohan Singh as examples of decorum. He argued that Gandhi's comments not only insult the Prime Minister but also damage India's international reputation.

Additionally, Chirag Paswan condemned the use of undignified language in politics, emphasizing that while dissent is permitted in a democracy, the standards of language and respect must be maintained.
