Rajnath Singh emphasizes military power and propriety as India’s true strength
Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that a nation’s true strength is derived from both military capability, such as missile stockpiling, and the maintenance of high standards of propriety and national consciousness.
Speaking at a programme in Delhi’s Rashtra Mandir Vishwa Ramayan Ashram during the Pitru Paksha period, Singh emphasized that technological advancements like AI are incomplete without a connection to cultural roots and a sense of duty to society. He noted that true greatness involves tolerance, generosity, and the ability to work for the collective good.
Singh also highlighted the government’s efforts to promote India’s civilisational ethos alongside its strides in science and technology. Additionally, he extended greetings to soldiers and veterans on the occasion of the Territorial Army's Raising Day.
