Raška Municipality issues call for public award nominations

The Raška Municipality Commission for Awards and Recognitions has issued a public call for initiatives and proposals for municipal awards in honor of Raška Municipality Day on September 17.

Proposals may be submitted by legal entities within the municipality, the municipal president, assembly bodies, councilor groups, or groups of at least 30 citizens residing in the area. Awards can be granted to individuals or organizations—including NGOs and humanitarian groups—for exceptional achievements in social and economic development, science, education, culture, art, and sports.

Eligible recipients include those residing in Raška or those living elsewhere if their achievements specifically benefit the municipality. Available honors include the title of Honorary Citizen of Raška Municipality, the Raška Charter, a Certificate of Appreciation, and a monetary award. All written proposals must be submitted to the Commission for Awards and Recognitions of the Raška Municipality Assembly by Monday, August 31, 2026.
