Rakchanok Siraenok criticizes Bhumjaithai Party flood relief methods

Rakchanok Siraenok, a list MP from the People's Party, has criticized the Bhumjaithai Party's flood relief efforts, specifically targeting a relief kitchen that offered food orders via the Grab application. Rakchanok argued that using delivery apps is ineffective for flood victims who often lack internet access, transportation, or the means to use such services while struggling to navigate flooded areas.

This criticism follows a previous exchange where Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, responded to questions about the integrity of funds by stating he was “well-taught by his parents to care for the people.” Rakchanok responded by suggesting that the reliance on digital apps reflects a failure in crisis management and urged leaders to show empathy toward vulnerable groups, including those without parental support, rather than using family background as a rhetorical tool.
