Rakuten Monkeys extend winning streak to six games

The Rakuten Monkeys have secured a six-game winning streak following a 4-2 victory over the Wei Chuan Dragons. Relief pitcher Su Ji-hao earned his first game MVP honors after entering a high-pressure situation with the bases loaded and recording three strikeouts to prevent further scoring.

Infielder Jason Marsden has also demonstrated significant individual growth during the second half of the season. In September, Marsden recorded a .371 batting average with 23 hits in 62 at-bats, setting a new personal single-season high for hits and home runs. His improved plate discipline and hitting strategy have led to him being moved up in the batting order to the fifth position. Additionally, Marsden has shown defensive versatility, contributing at both shortstop and second base during recent games.
