Rakuten Travel expands coupon offerings and announces Super SALE

Rakuten Travel has announced a significant increase in local government-issued travel support coupons. For the July–September 2026 period, the number of planned coupons is expected to grow approximately 2.2 times compared to the same period last year. This expansion is attributed to more municipalities utilizing the government's regional support grants.

In addition to the increase in municipal coupons, Rakuten Travel is launching its 'Super SALE' from September 4 to October 1, 2026. This 28-day campaign features over 20,000 accommodation plans, with discounts of up to 35% for first-time app users and up to 30% for others. The sale also includes discounts on rental cars, activities, and specific hotel chains.
