Rakuten Viki, the global streaming platform for Asian entertainment, has released the new Chinese romance series ‘Overdo’ following the high viewership of ‘Love for You’. ‘Love for You’, set in the 1990s, reached the number one spot in weekly viewership on the platform during its premiere week.

‘Overdo’ is a Republican-era romance set in Shanghai. The series stars Zhang Linghe as Murong Qing Yi, a doctor with a complex past, and Wang Churan as Ren Su Su, an orphan. The plot focuses on a relationship shaped by betrayal, hidden identities, and unresolved love.
