Raków Częstochowa looks for striker after Brunes joins Sparta Prague

Polish Ekstraklasa side Raków Częstochowa is intensively searching for a new centre‑forward to replace Jonatan Brunes, who was sold to Czech club Sparta Prague for €6 million. The club’s transfer department says talks are ongoing and concrete information could be announced in the coming days. Club spokesman Michał Szprendałowicz noted that the recruitment work is “very intense” and that the team expects further reinforcement soon.

Raków’s recent on‑field performance includes a 4‑0 victory over Valletta FC in the Conference League second‑leg, securing progression in the competition. Despite the European success, the club stresses that strengthening the attack remains a priority to maintain its competitive level.
