Raków Częstochowa Prepares for Valletta Re‑match Amid Broadcast Deals and Injuries

Polish side Raków Częstochowa will travel to Malta for the second‑leg of their 2026‑27 UEFA Conference League tie against Valletta FC on 30 July. After a 3‑1 victory in the first leg in Częstochowa, the team aims to secure a place in the third qualifying round. Coach Dawid Kroczek stated that the artificial turf in Malta will not affect the players and stressed the need to win.

The match will be broadcast on TV Republika Plus and streamed live on the channel’s YouTube feed, following the first‑leg’s online broadcast on Kanal Sportowy, which attracted about 137 000 viewers. In addition, the game will be available via traditional TV on the Republika Plus network.

Injury updates: defender Stratos Svarnas has passed medical checks after a knee injury suffered against Wisła Płock and is expected to return soon. Forward Lamine Diaby‑Fadiga, however, remains sidelined with Achilles tendon problems and will miss the upcoming fixtures, with a return projected in the coming weeks.
