Raków Częstochowa nears transfer of defender Arvid Brorsson

Raków Częstochowa is reportedly close to finalizing the permanent transfer of 27-year-old central defender Arvid Brorsson. According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, the Polish club has reached an agreement for the player, who is currently associated with the Italian side AC Monza.

The move comes as Raków manager Dawid Kroczek has expressed concerns regarding the team’s thin squad depth following a 1:2 loss to Cracovia Kraków. The defeat left the club at the bottom of the Ekstraklasa table with three consecutive losses. Kroczek noted that injuries and lack of availability among defenders forced difficult personnel decisions during recent matches.

Brorsson, who has experience in Serie A, reportedly beat out competition from Denmark’s Aarhus GF to secure the move. The Swedish defender previously moved from Mjällby AIF to Italy for approximately 500,000 euros and is currently valued at around 400,000 euros.
