Raków Częstochowa signs defender Arvid Brorsson from AC Monza

Raków Częstochowa is strengthening its defense by signing Swedish center-back Arvid Brorsson from Italian club AC Monza. The 27-year-old defender is undergoing medical tests to finalize a permanent transfer.

Brorsson joins the Polish side following a period of poor domestic form, where the team has lost its first three Ekstraklasa matches and sits at the bottom of the table. The move is intended to stabilize a defense that has conceded six goals in three league games.

Brorsson brings experience from the Italian leagues, having played in both Serie A and Serie B with Monza. His contract with Raków is set to run until June 30, 2029, with an option for an additional year. The signing comes as the club also prepares for UEFA Conference League play-off qualifiers against Hajduk Split.
