Raúl Alfonsín's family donates historic home to Chascomús

The family of former Argentine President Raúl Alfonsín has donated their historic family home to the Municipality of Chascomús. The donation, formalized by the children of the late leader, aims to incorporate the property into the public heritage to ensure its preservation and eventual opening to the community.

Located at Lavalle 227, the residence served as the family home and the professional office where Alfonsín practiced law. The site holds significant historical weight, as it was a gathering point for journalists and supporters during the 1983 elections, which marked the return to democracy in Argentina.
