Raúl Morón leads Morena internal polls for Michoacán leadership
Raúl Morón Orozco is maintaining a significant lead in the internal Morena party process to determine the state coordinator for Michoacán. Recent opinion polls from firms Insightt and CRIPESO indicate Morón holds a commanding position among the candidates.
According to Insightt, Morón holds approximately 30% of the preference, leading Fabiola Alanís, who has 23%. CRIPESO data shows a similar trend, placing Morón at 31.51%, which provides a double-digit advantage over his closest competitor, Carlos Torres Piña, at 17.94%. Other candidates, including Gabriela Molina Aguilar, Fabiola Alanís Sámano, and Gladysz Butanda, trail significantly with low single-digit percentages.
Morón has recently bolstered his position by securing formal support from over 45 social and union organizations in the state and leading large assemblies in key municipalities such as Uruapan and Zitácuaro. In terms of general party preference in the region, Morena leads with 45.95%, significantly ahead of the PAN at 14.36%.
