Raúl Rangel receives support from Jorge Campos after errors

Mexican goalkeeper Raúl ‘Tala’ Rangel has revealed that he received significant emotional support from football figures, including Jorge Campos, Andrés Guardado, and Rafael Márquez, following mistakes made during his time with the Mexican National Team.

Rangel noted that Campos’s advice—emphasizing that everyone, from the best to the worst players, makes mistakes—was instrumental in helping him regain his confidence. The Chivas goalkeeper expressed a commitment to maintaining emotional stability and focusing on performance rather than dwelling on past errors.

Regarding his position within the national team, Rangel acknowledged the return of Luis Ángel Malagón. He stated that there is no guaranteed starting position in the squad, noting that selection depends on which player is in the best form at any given moment.
