Ralf Aron’s comeback secures victory at Nürburgring 6‑Hour ADAC race
The 6‑hour ADAC Ruhr‑Pokal race of the Nürburgring Langstrecken‑Serie took place on 1 August 2026 under clear summer weather. Mercedes‑AMG Team RAVENOL, fielded by drivers Ralf Aron and Luca Stolz, won the event after completing 41 laps. Aron, returning five months after a serious crash at the Bathurst 12‑Hour race, also claimed pole position with a best lap of 7:51.506.
The victory marked an emotional milestone for Aron, who described the comeback as “overwhelmingly happy.” Luca Stolz celebrated the win as a birthday gift. The runner‑up position went to Schubert Motorsport’s BMW M4 GT3 EVO. The race featured a full grid of 19 cars, with no safety‑car periods recorded during qualifying.
