Ralf Schumacher to undergo surgery after jet ski accident
Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher is set to undergo surgery following a jet ski accident during the ‘Jetski Star World Championship’ in Duisburg. The incident occurred during a team challenge alongside German television host Stefan Raab.
While Schumacher initially believed he had only dislocated his shoulder, subsequent MRI examinations at the BG Klinikum Duisburg revealed that a small piece of bone had also broken off. Schumacher expressed gratitude to the first responders and medical staff who assisted him immediately after the crash.
Despite the injury and upcoming minor operation, the 51-year-old Sky Germany expert intends to fulfill his professional commitments.
