Ralf Schumacher urges Red Bull to promote Nikola Tsolov

Schumacher believes Tsolov, who has shown significant promise in Formula 2, represents the next generation of superstar talent required for the team's long-term strategy.

Schumacher suggested that while Liam Lawson has performed professionally and earned points during his recent stints, he has not demonstrated the extra level of potential necessary to secure a permanent seat in the main Red Bull squad. He noted that the recent decision to secure Isack Hadjar for 2027 indicates the team is looking for specific long-term profiles.

With Max Verstappen contracted through 2030, Schumacher argues that the junior program must focus on identifying and developing the next top-tier talent. He views Tsolov as a primary candidate to follow the path from Racing Bulls to the senior Red Bull team.
