Rali Ceredigion to host 149 entries in Aberystwyth

Rali Ceredigion is set to take place near Aberystwyth from September 4 to 6, featuring a record 149 entries from 18 different countries. The all-asphalt event is a significant fixture on the European motorsport calendar, serving as a round for the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC), the Motorsport UK British Rally Championship, and making its debut as part of the FIA European Historic Rally Championship for vehicles manufactured before 1992.

In the ERC standings, Teemu Suninen holds a 25-point lead, though he will be navigating the Ceredigion stages for the first time. Additionally, five-time World Rally Championship winner Kris Meeke will make his debut at the event driving a Toyota Yaris Rally2.

The historic category features championship leader Seb Perez in a Lancia Stratos, alongside other notable entries including Porsche 911s and classic models like the Ford Escort Mk2 and Triumph TR7 V8. Local British Rally Championship contenders, including Max McRae, Meirion Evans, and Osian Pryce, will also compete.
