Rally championships conclude in Northern Cyprus and Kocaeli

Recent rally competitions in Northern Cyprus and Turkey have concluded with significant championship implications. In the 3rd Omağ-Çağkan Yapı Rally, organized by the Northern Cyprus Touring and Automobile Club, the duo of Çağkan Bozalanlar and Hasan Evrensel secured victory with a time of 46:26.7. According to unofficial results, this win allows them to claim the 2026 championship title with one race remaining.

In the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2026 Turkish Rally Championship, the 6th leg held at the Kocaeli Metropolitan Rally was won by Uğur Soylu and Soner Tamer of GP Garage My Team. Driving a Skoda Fabia Rally2, Soylu’s victory moves him into the championship lead. The race, which took place under heavy rain across nine special stages, saw Can Alakoç and Bilge Ayan finish second, while Eytan Halfon and Gürkal Menderes took third place.
