Rally di Roma Capitale draws record Ypsilon entries and over 20 ACI officials
The Rally di Roma Capitale, running from 3–5 July 2026, hosted more than 20 race officials from Automobile Club Agrigento. President Salvatore Bellanca said the call to serve “is a great source of pride” and highlighted the club’s competence on an international stage.
Lancia’s Trofeo event at the rally recorded a debut of the Ypsilon Rally2 HF, with demand so high that the manufacturer is accelerating production. Luca Martello, head of Lancia HF, noted the rally serves as a “general rehearsal” ahead of the rally’s expected inclusion in the World Rally Championship calendar and affirmed that “we are already struggling to meet all the orders, especially for the Ypsilon Rally2 HF.”
