Rally events announced for Viana do Castelo and Porto Santo

Two regional rally events in Portugal have released updated details regarding schedules and regulations.

The Viana do Castelo Rally, organized by the Motor Clube de Guimarães, will feature a Super Special stage in Viana do Castelo on Friday at 20:25, with further stages occurring across various parishes on Saturday. The event will necessitate significant traffic restrictions. On Friday, several central streets and avenues in Viana do Castelo will be closed from 18:00 to 23:00. On Saturday, closures are planned for the Outeiro area (EN 302) between 08:00 and 14:00, and extensive restrictions will apply in Geraz do Lima and Mujães throughout the morning and afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Porto Santo Rally, organized by Clube Automobilístico 100 à Hora da Madeira, is scheduled for November 6 and 7. This event serves as the final round of the CORAL Madeira Rally Championship. The approved regulations from the Federação Portuguesa de Automobilismo e Karting (FPAK) outline a total course of 118.44 kilometers, including 60.83 kilometers of selective stages. The competition begins Friday night with the 'Porto Santo Line' super-special stage, followed by several stages on Saturday, including Serras 'Coral', Golfe, and Picos. Registration for the event is open until October 23.
