Argentina and Uruguay hold national rally events June 26‑28

The fourth round of the Argentine Rally Championship, the Rally del Poncho 2026, will take place in Catamarca from June 26 to 28. Governor Raúl Jalil and local officials launched the event, emphasizing its role for sport and tourism. The schedule includes a shakedown on Friday, followed by twelve special stages across various localities, with the final podium ceremony at the Provincial Bicentennial Stadium.

In Uruguay, the city of Salto will host a stage of the National Rally Championship over the same weekend. The program features a symbolic start in Plaza Treinta y Tres Orientales on Friday evening, free‑access competitions on Saturday and Sunday, and a closing awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
