Rally Hokkaido 2026: Daiki Arai wins JN-1 class

Rally Hokkaido 2026, part of the All Japan Rally Championship and the XCR Sprint Cup Series, concluded on September 6 following two days of competition in the Tokachi region.

In the JN-1 class, Daiki Arai secured his third consecutive victory driving a Toyota Yaris. Other notable finishers in the class included Yuichi Matsumoto and Takuma Kamata in second place, and Shungo Higashi and Fumio Noda in third.

In the MORIZO Challenge Cup (MCC), a series designed to develop young drivers, Seiya Saegusa claimed his first victory. Saegusa maintained a strong lead throughout the event, narrowly defending his position against Yusuke Okui, who finished second by a margin of 3.0 seconds. Yoshiaki Yonebayashi took third place.

Tsuyoshi Nagao earned the ‘Most SS Top Time Award’ after securing eight top times across the stages, while Mako Hirakawa secured the 2026 season championship for female drivers.
