Rally of the Himalayas concludes after high-altitude competition

The 6th edition of the Rally of the Himalayas concluded on September 30 in Padum, Zanskar, following four days of competition through high-altitude terrain in the Lahaul-Spiti and Zanskar regions. The event featured 50 cars and 80 riders navigating steep inclines, unpredictable weather, and challenging mountain routes.

In the T3 Xtreme category, Phoebe Dale Nongrum and co-driver Shahid Salman secured 4th place and 8th place overall. Nongrum was awarded the best female driver honour for her performance despite facing mechanical issues, including a dislodged damper and suspension spring, and navigating heavy snowfall and black ice.

In the four-wheel category, Rajiv Yadav established an early lead on the first day. Other notable competitors included Aaryak Rana and the duo of Rajiv Yadav and Rohit Gowda, who claimed a title during the event's conclusion.
