Rally racing updates: Equipe Vitesse enters Rally Lana and Çukurova competes in Turkey
Equipe Vitesse has announced its participation in the 38th Rally Lana, scheduled for October 24-25. The event, promoted by the Automobile Club di Biella, returns after a sabbatical year. The competition features six timed stages, including the 14 km 'Tracciolino' and a city stage in Biella. Equipe Vitesse will field multiple crews, including Francesco De Marco and Paolo De Marco, Roberto Favaro and Loretta Tedesco in the N2 class, and Nicolò Bottega and Luca Ciscato in the N3 class, alongside Simone Bottega and Luca Croce.
In the Turkish Championship, driver Burak Çukurova finished fifth at the 43rd Kokaeli Rally despite challenging weather conditions involving wind, rain, and mud. Driving a Skoda Fabia Evo for BC Vision Motorsport, Çukurova's performance moves him into third place in the overall championship standings. His navigator, Burak Akcay, has already secured the co-driver title. The championship will conclude in mid-November at the Istanbul Rally.
