Rally Regione Piemonte attracts 131 entrants for 2026 showdown in Langhe

The Rally Regione Piemonte will take place from 31 July to 2 August 2026 on the roads of Alba, crossing the UNESCO‑listed Langhe hills. It serves as the fourth round of the Italian Rally‑Sparco Championship, the fourth stop of the Suzuki Rally Cup and a key event in the Lancia Trofeo 2026.

A total of 131 crews have registered, including 11 Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid entries. Leading the Suzuki Cup standings is Roberto Pellè with 84 points, followed by Giovanni Villardi and Jean‑Claude Vallino, who will try to close the gap. The Lancia Trofeo features 27 Ypsilon‑powered cars, with Simone Di Giovanni topping the class.

The three‑day programme offers more than 140 km of fast, technical special stages, a Power Stage that awards bonus points, and a prize fund of €150 000. The event is promoted as a showcase for motorsport and regional tourism, highlighting the cultural and economic value for Piedmont.
