Ralph Lauren reports 13% revenue growth in Q1 fiscal 2027
Ralph Lauren reported first-quarter fiscal 2027 results that exceeded expectations, with revenue increasing 13% on a constant-currency basis to $2 billion. The company saw an expansion in adjusted operating margin to 18.5%. CEO Patrice Louvet attributed the broad-based growth to increased full-price selling, brand activations, and the company's "Next Great Chapter: Drive" strategy.
Asia emerged as the fastest-growing region, with revenue up 25%. Specifically, sales in China increased by more than 40%, supported by new customer recruitment and expansion in six priority city clusters. Japan and Korea also recorded double-digit growth. In North America, revenue rose 13%, driven by a 22% increase in wholesale and 9% retail comparable sales.
European revenue grew by 5%, led by Germany, Italy, and Spain. Following these results, the company raised its full-year outlook for Asia to high-single-digit to low-double-digit revenue growth.
