Ralph Norman targets South Carolina Senate runoff with SAVE Act focus
Representative Ralph Norman (R-SC) has declared his intent to win the August 25 Republican Senate runoff in South Carolina, positioning himself as a “known quantity” on national issues. Norman emphasized that his primary agenda is the SAVE Act, arguing that safe and secure elections are essential to maintaining a republic.
Norman criticized the “Washington elite” for supporting his opponent, Senator Darline Graham Nordone. While describing Nordone as a “nice person,” he characterized her as an “unknown” compared to his own established conservative backing from groups such as Heritage Action and Turning Point USA. He noted that his campaign is supported by figures like Rick Scott and Mike Lee, whereas Nordone is supported by Lisa Murkowski, whom he noted opposed the SAVE Act.
In contrast to Norman’s platform, Donald Trump has provided his “complete and total endorsement” to Graham Nordone. Additionally, Representative Russell Fry, who placed third in the primary, has also backed the incumbent.
