Ram Charan and Sukumar reunite for RC17 with Sara Arjun in casting talks

Reports indicate that Sara Arjun is a frontrunner to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan in the upcoming film RC17, directed by Sukumar. The project marks a reunion for the actor-director duo following their 2018 film Rangasthalam.

While neither the filmmakers nor the actors have officially confirmed the casting, industry reports suggest Arjun has expressed interest in the script. The film is backed by Mythri Movie Makers and is currently in the pre-production phase.

A formal puja ceremony for the project is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on October 20, 2026. Principal photography is expected to commence in December 2026, with a planned theatrical release in 2028. Additionally, the production is reportedly considering Anirudh Ravichander and Shashwat Sachdev as potential music composers.
