Ram Charan begins recovery after wrist rods and cast removal

Indian actor Ram Charan has reached a significant milestone in his recovery from a right wrist injury. Medical professionals at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore have successfully removed the cast and wrist rods that were surgically placed in July.

The injury, identified as a triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) tear, occurred during the filming of physically demanding wrestling sequences for the project ‘Peddi’. Following the removal of the hardware, the actor is expected to undergo eight to ten weeks of intensive physical therapy to restore strength and mobility to his wrist.

Once his rehabilitation is complete, Ram Charan is scheduled to begin filming a new project directed by Sukumar, produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The collaboration, often referred to as ‘RC17’, is expected to launch around the Dussehra festival period.
