Ram Kadam calls for harsh punishments for Ram Temple donation theft

BJP leader Ram Kadam on 28 June urged the Uttar Pradesh government to impose the death penalty on anyone caught stealing donations from the newly built Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He said, “राम मंदिर से चंदा चोरी करने वालों को बीच रास्ते में खड़े करके कोड़ों से मारना चाहिए या फांसी दे देना चाहिए.”

Kadam also linked the issue to the ongoing TET paper‑leak investigation, promising that the gang’s leader will be pursued aggressively. He criticised opposition parties for “defaming” the temple and warned they should not engage in “light‑weight politics.” The leader praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign trips, saying they are raising India’s global stature.
