Ram Madhav highlights tourism growth in Jammu and Kashmir

Speaking at the NDTV World ‘Anviksha’ Summit in Kathmandu, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Vice-President Ram Madhav noted that Jammu and Kashmir has undergone a significant transformation since becoming a Union Territory in 2019. He advised travelers, specifically those from Nepal, to book hotel accommodations in Srinagar at least two months in advance due to the region's increased popularity as a tourist destination.

Madhav attributed these changes to the reorganization of the region and the abrogation of Article 370. He also addressed reports regarding alleged financial irregularities within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, characterizing the matter as a “one-time unfortunate aberration” that was identified by the temple administration itself rather than an external agency.
