Ram Mandir Trust Announces CEO Recruitment, Over 1,000 Applicants

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust opened applications for its first Chief Executive Officer to manage the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. More than 1,000 candidates applied within 24 hours of the notice, with retired bureaucrats forming a large share of the pool. The eligibility criteria require applicants to be actively practising Hindus, aged 50‑70, and to have at least 20 years of senior managerial experience in large public organisations or private firms. Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on 18 July via the Trust’s official email address.

A three‑member selection panel – retired Supreme Court Justice Pramod Kohli, retired Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi and retired nuclear scientist Suresh Haware – will scrutinise the submissions and interview shortlisted candidates. The appointed CEO will oversee day‑to‑day administration, financial transparency, security and pilgrim facilities, reporting to the Trust’s General Secretary for a three‑year term.
