PM Modi releases Ram Nath Kovind’s autobiography, warns youth against ‘shortcut’ culture
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the autobiography of former Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, titled ‘Triumph of the Indian Republic: My Life, My Struggles’, at an event in New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhavan. The book details Kovind’s journey from a modest background in Kanpur Dehat to serving as the 14th President of India.
During the launch, PM Modi addressed the younger generation, specifically Gen Z, warning against the ‘shortcut culture’ prevalent in the era of social media reels and influencers. He urged youth to seek inspiration from real-life experiences and autobiographies rather than instant gratification. He noted that Kovind’s life serves as a testament to how determination can overcome adversity.
Modi also praised Kovind’s continued dedication to public service, specifically his involvement in the ‘One Nation, One Election’ initiative. He described the autobiography as a future ‘heritage’ for Indian democracy and society.
