Ram Pothineni to play villain opposite Rajinikanth in Dharman

Telugu actor Ram Pothineni is reportedly set to play the antagonist in the upcoming action thriller Dharman, starring alongside superstar Rajinikanth. The film marks Rajinikanth’s 173rd cinematic project and is being directed by Ashwath Marimuthu.

Produced under Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films banner, the movie is expected to blend family drama with action and thriller elements. Reports suggest the cast includes Simran and Rajinikanth as an older couple, while Ram Pothineni and Raashi Khanna are expected to portray a younger pair, potentially setting up a generational conflict. The production is currently underway, with its second shooting schedule taking place in Chennai.
