Ram Rumble Bee pickup sells out 2026 production quota in 90 minutes

Ram has seen unprecedented demand for its new Rumble Bee pickup truck, which features the return of the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. The initial production quota for the 2026 model year sold out in just 90 minutes, and the entire order book through March 2027 was filled within 24 hours.

Designed to appeal to enthusiasts of traditional American muscle trucks, the Rumble Bee lacks modern fuel-saving technologies like start-stop systems or eTorque mild-hybrid systems. The engine produces 395 horsepower and 556 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle also features a selectable four-wheel-drive system that allows drivers to switch to rear-wheel drive.

Ram CEO Matt VanDyke noted that the speed of sales reflects customer passion for muscle trucks. The model starts at approximately $62,790. To manage the high volume of interest, the manufacturer is prioritizing customers who have already secured confirmed orders.
