Ramallah hosts conference on the future of Palestinian medical education

The ‘Future of Palestinian Medical Education’ conference was held in Ramallah, organized by the Palestinian Medical Association and sponsored by the Bank of Jerusalem. The event brought together approximately 400 doctors, academics, and medical professionals.

Key attendees included Health Minister Dr. Majed Abu Ramadan, the Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Dr. Laila Ghannam, and the head of the Medical Association, Dr. Salah Al-Hashlamon. The conference featured opening remarks and discussion sessions focused on the current state of medical education in Palestine, its future prospects, and the challenges facing medical training and development.

The sessions aimed to produce recommendations to enhance the medical sector. The Bank of Jerusalem participated to support the healthcare and academic sectors and to engage with medical professionals regarding its community services.
