Ramandeep Yadav discusses new role in ‘Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot’

Actor Ramandeep Yadav has expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play the character Kinnu in the horror-comedy series ‘Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot’. This role offers a significant departure from his previous portrayal of Rajjo in the crime thriller ‘Raakh’.

Yadav noted that as an actor, especially early in a career, it is vital to showcase versatility and avoid being pigeonholed into a single genre or ‘zone’. While he remains open to intense roles, he aims to bring freshness to every character and has expressed interest in exploring romantic roles on screen.

The 40-episode series, which premiered on September 11 on JioHotstar, is set against the backdrop of Central Indian folklore. It follows Alisha ‘Ali’ Nigam, a neuropsychology expert, as she navigates supernatural mysteries while searching for her missing father. The series also stars Asha Negi and Vishal Vashishtha.
